Rules for Paint-outs

- Minimum of fuss for host - supply coffee only

- members to brown bag their own lunch

- bring 'on location' art equipment suitable for the great outdoors - the host is not required to supply indoor painting facilities.

- please refer to your newsletter for detailed directions

- arrive on time at 10 am and depart by 4 pm, but call if you are going to be late or there may not be anyone home....GONE PAINTING!!

From Toronto, 401 east; take the 115 north. Exit at county road 10,
Millbrook; turn north [thru Cavan, Ida, Mount Pleasant] t the traffic light
on hwy#7. turn left, over a rise and down onto Omemee.
Cobourg, Port Hope area; take hwy #28 north to Fowlers corners, turn
left, west] proceed to Omemee.

Hwy 12 north (or south) to Simcoe St.(Glenarm Rd) and Turn west towards lake Simcoe...Follow Simcoe St. to Madill and turn Right (just past Catholic Church), then left onto North St. ...we are down on the Right...big old house with lamp post on front lawn.

Algonquin East Gate Motel Spring Paint-Out (March 30 – April 1, 2012) David has proposed an informal showing and critique of work produced whilst enjoying an appetizer and perhaps a champagne cocktail or two.

Bridgewater Spring Workshop (May 27-28, 2012)

Cost remains at $245 for double occupancy and $285 for single. People still have to bring their bedding and towels. Breakfast, boxed lunch and dinners are included. Sheila Davis agreed to do the demo.
