About Us

The East Central Ontario Art Association (ECOAA), organized in 1960, has served to bring together what has become a large and closely knit group of over 200 artists from beginner to professional. The prime purposes are to work and learn with others of similar interest, and to provide an ongoing arrangement for displaying the work produced.

The success of ECOAA has been proven over and over, in terms of instruction, personal satisfaction and growth, sales, and the many lasting friendships which have resulted from Association activities.

Our membership area extends mainly over Eastern Ontario, including artists  from Metropolitan Toronto to the Quebec border and north past Algonquin Park, as well as some from as far west as the Niagara Peninsula.  The largest concentration are residents of Scarborough, Belleville,  Peterborough and surrounding areas.

This is where members sharetheir current work, ask questions, socialize and talk art. All of the latest news breaks here first. Virtual conversations and meaningful exchanges occur daily! All members are encouraged to share and post here often! If we can’t meet in person, let’s meet online.
