THE DRILL
bUGS may be awake , bring a bug jacket and spray if you intend to hike or paint outdoors.
make sure you have plenty of winter washer fluid and gas. it is very snowy in the Haliburton highlands!
watch for the bark lake sign on the hwy . follow the long windy road up to bark lake , stop at the registration office if necessary (lynda will let us know)
the first building is the studio. stop there and drop off your gear. even if you want to plein air bring your gear here to keep it warm and have it ready.
Once unloaded and a table chosen (if you're staying in) drive down the to oak centre and unload your personal bag and necessities (byob) then please move your car to the main parking area. disable vehicles may stay parked at the oak centre but please don't block the door.
Either head back to the studio where some will be start painting or relax in the oak centre. the grounds are stunning but extensive so please don't wander off alone. make sure we know where your are headed. when you leave and when you're expected back. many of us have been going for years and know some good painting/photographing or hiking locations.

We look forward to Bark Lake every year and hope you'll join us!
